Acorn Hill Waldorf Kindergarten & Nursery

Acorn Hill is a Waldorf School and certified kindergarten and nursery licensed by the Maryland State Board of Education and a day care center licensed by the Office of Child Care, division of MSDE. We believe that play is the serious work of childhood, and that learning by doing provides the foundation for critical thinking, problem solving and a lifelong enthusiasm for knowledge. Our morning and full-day programs are designed for children two and a half to six, with parent-child classes for infants, toddlers and 2-3 year olds. Established in 1964, we are devoted to providing quality programs to meet the physical, social-emotional, and mental developmental needs of your child using integrated and age appropriate methods.
